I just visited this blog. There is an eleven year old girl, who weighs ten pounds. This lady's blog is trying to raise $22,000 to pretty much fund her adoption in hopes that it will allow someone to adopt and help this child. Please consider helping this child...not everyone desires to adopt or can. But anyone can donate a dollar..or 5, or 10???
I can not adopt anymore..says my husband. We already have nine kids...but I will help just a little.

Stefani's Daughters Will Come Home
I heard yesterday that Stefani Ellison, who works for CHI (adoption agency) had almost $5,000 stolen from her home. This money was being saved to help with the adoption costs of bringing home two little girls. These two little girls are both in the same orphanage as 2 of my daughters. I have been there and I have seen both of these girls. No one wants to see them home with Stefani more than I do. I am trying to collect money to help Stefani replace some of what she has lost. For those of you who may not know her, she and her husband have 15 children already. And yet they are still willing to use their resources to bring home 2 little girls, age 11 and 5. And not just any two little girls...neither of these girls can walk.
If Stefani has ever helped you or encouraged you or even amazed you, please consider any amount...even if it is only a dollar if that is all you have...I promise you that every penny of the donations that are made on this site will go to Stefani to help her in this time of such a devastating loss. We love you Stefani.

Willis: Can You Help Him?
I have to tell you about Willis. This may be the only chance he gets.
This boy is at the orphanage that two of my daughters lived at. I think he has had a tough life, and may not get a lot of chance to be adopted. I think it will take a VERY SPECIAL family, someone willing to take a chance and a challenge.
I am trying to give him this chance to let it be known that he is there. He is smart, but he doesn't like to study. He is deaf. He is 11 years old. If there is a family who knows his past , who is full of love and patience, and can guide him to the right road, then he can lead a new life. If you want more information, please ask me about him.

Noah Scott!
There was a recent post on one of the yahoo groups I am on about Noah and wrote to the lady who posted, Yvette, to see if I could post some information about Noah. She has seen his file.
She said:
"The little boy born 12/13/2006 who has dwarfism (not achondroplasia) was just listed on Rainbow Kids by Wasatch Adoptions (they named him Scott)! I am so thrilled, we really looked at him but couldn't do virtual triplets all with dwarfism. If anyone is interested, I have some info from the dwarfism Dr's who looked at his file and pictures. He is far down the list but I really on think it is because his diagnosis on the list is so vague (microplasia).
"I would be more than happy to talk to anyone who is interested. We are part of the dwarfism community and can also lead anyone to the appropriate Dr's etc. My email is ctmy@comcast.net and my blog is BringingHome Holland.blogspot.com
"The most important part is that he has long useable fingers and is walking. Most children have no intelligence issues and there are some types of dwarfism which have a high intelligence factor. The Dr's weren't sure on his type but gave me a few ideas. They really need x-rays, but ... otherwise they thought he looked pretty good!
"Like I said, if he didn't fall within the same year as my littlest one and the little girl we are adopting, or was our only child we were bringing home I would have taken him in a heartbeat. YVETTE"
I hope someone will want to scoop him up...and then let us know so that we can tell his sweet little friend who already left through adoption, that he is coming home too!

Our Flag is Beautiful
Yesterday was Memorial Day. Like many people, we had the BBQ here at home. Later, we got our kids together and I showed a short video that I got online that was patriotic pictures to the music of "I'm Proud to Be An American". I ended up emotional afterwards as I commented to my children.
We are so blessed to have this free country, at the loss of so many who fought for our freedom. Afterwards, we went to the local cemetery, but not because we have family members resting there. It is because on this day every year, they post hundreds of American flags (and two Canadian flags!) with a name on the staff of a serviceman. It is a beautiful sight. I have no trouble walking around, enjoying the flags, flowers and beauty and looking at headstones. It is amazingly beautiful.

Noah Needs Us!!
Noah is 5 years old and currently resides in a SWI in Jiangxi Province in China. Noah has a form of dwarfism. It affects his body, but not his intellect. This little boy was very sad when his "sister" recently left to be adopted. His sister is 7 years old and they were best friends. The sweet little adopted girl also misses him and has been told that her new mama will try and find him a family.
He was very upset during the adoption visit because he knew his friend was going to be leaving again. Though shy, he did accept candy from the mom and even let her put a piece in his mouth. This little man needs a family and could attend school and thrive in a family. Despite his small stature, he walks and plays, goes up and down steps.
His birthday is 12/16/2006, his special need on the shared list is listed as Microplasia. Please contact me if you are interested as I have access to some video of him also. (This little boy is not an LWB child, but I am doing this for a friend).
